The most fantastic holster I’ve ever had.
"This is going to be long, and I don’t know all the right terminology for what I’m describing. I was raised around firearms. I’m familiar, I’m comfortable. I’ve just never carried, because all the options out there look like they are designed for GI Joe, or the extreme tactical civilian bros. When I purchased my firearm, I googled the make and model, picked the first one the bros on forums said was the best, and tried to roll with it. I was so miserable and uncomfortable that it actually put me off from carrying. I put it in a drawer and never touched it again. This year I tried to make a concentrated effort to try again, and was so miserable that I would end up crying by the time that I got home to take it off. It poked it pinched it shifted it rubbed me raw in spots, plus I thought I would never feel cute again, I wore men’s shirts that were 4 sizes too big for me, and did everything in my power to not feel like I was smuggling a brick everywhere I went. I’m normally somewhat fashionable, so I took this extremely hard. I didn’t want to look like GI Joe, or oversized and frumpy, I wanted to be Barbie. Who happens to have a Glock under the sundress. I also didn’t want to dress like Tactical Barbie either, pretty hard to keep quiet that you are concealing when 99% of women’s concealment clothes has “5. 11 CONCEALCARRY17762A” emblazoned down the leg. I’m doing everything in my power NOT to publicize. I want to look like the only thing someone can Come and Take is a Stanley. Enter eclipse holsters. First company that I came across that had hundreds of endorsements from not only the guys, but from women also, and it talked about comfort, concealment, and color options that weren’t just 1000 shades of camo and carbon fiber. I’m able to find something that I like, that fits with most of the colors I wear, that doesn’t scream tactical, and lets me still be a girl in girl clothes instead of a girl trying to hide security behind oversized boy clothes. First time I put it on, I cried, but for different reasons. I could finally wear normal clothes. It held things tightly, didn’t move, tucked bulky bits into my body so that I didn’t print all over the place like I had before… I’ve never endorsed a company the way I’m endorsing this one. I contacted customer service the second I had placed my order and they got back to me within the day and answered all of my (trust me, they were) stupid questions with patience and grace that I had never received down at the LGS. Instead of offering 100 colors of carbon fiber and camo, and one hot pink blingy 2004 model as a consolation prize for the ladies, this company seems to put women as their top consideration with the care they put into their holsters. I can dress normal. I can dress normal, like a Starbucks, tshirt and leggings mom, instead of the “2A Badass” uniform that I see a lot when it comes to ccw outfits. No one has to know, until they absolutely have to. I’m so happy. I want to submit a photo, but will do that once I figure out how."
